You never really know when you start a new hobby, sport or job if it's going to be something that you'll enjoy briefly or if it will stay with you forever.  I started my photography journey in late 2017 purchasing my first camera, the Canon 1300d along with a kit lens the 18-55mm.  I had no idea how to use it and set off looking to capture my first masterpiece.  I was bitterly disappointed with the results!

I quickly realised that if I wanted to succeed and improve as a photographer, I had an awful lot to learn.  Move forward five years to the present and I still have so much to learn! That is one of my favorite aspects of photography. You're always a student, you will always have the opportunity to continue learning.

Over the last 5 years photography has given me so much and put me in contact with some amazing new people, some of whom will no doubt be life-long friends.  It has allowed me to travel to places throughout South Australia that i'd never even considered visiting, or didn't even know existed in some cases.

In many ways, photography has given me a sense of belonging and self that for a period of time was lacking in my life.  I now enjoy sharing this wonderful experience with my young daughters who are always on the look out for a beautiful sunset for me.

The opportunity to be able to display my work around Adelaide and have clients purchase my artwork is a truly humbling experience which I am extremely grateful for.  Recently I have begun to offer Photography Workshops to share what I have learnt with others and help them along their journey as other have done so for me.
