The 12 meter tall Obelisk at Robe has been standing strong since 1855 but was originally painted entirely white! It wasn't until 1862 that the iconic red stripes were added to stop it from blending into the coastline behind it. This change allowed ships to see it from around 20km out at sea.
All artwork printed on 'Platine Fibre Rag Fine Art Paper' or 'Illford Galerie Smooth Pearl Fine Art Paper' .
All frames are custom built in South Australia using the highest quality Tasmanian Oak.
